Chorus performance will be a gay old time
About 100 of the more than 250 members of the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus are performing Sunday at the Fox Theater – with a little accompaniment by Bakersfield’s own Rainbow Voices Choir. The S.F. director predicts laughter, tears and goosebumps in the audience.

Join the BE team as we walk to support the arts
The Walk for the Arts on Saturday, May 15, is a 5K ramble around Bakersfield’s Downtown Arts District. Organized by the Arts Council of Kern, it is a fundraiser for organizations to raise money for their arts programs.
