Chorus performance will be a gay old time
About 100 of the more than 250 members of the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus are performing Sunday at the Fox Theater – with a little accompaniment by Bakersfield’s own Rainbow Voices Choir. The S.F. director predicts laughter, tears and goosebumps in the audience.

Longtime FLICS star gets a star of his own
David Kosakowski, board treasurer for Bakersfield’s nonprofit international film society, is honored with a star outside the Fox Theater for his years of dedication and “penny pinching.” The longtime FLICS volunteer has terminal pancreatic cancer.
