Bakersfield Express Inc. is in the process of becoming a nonprofit public benefit corporation in compliance with Internal Revenue Code section 501(c)(3). Once we obtain the nonprofit status, contributions to Bakersfield Express Inc. will be tax-deductible. Before then, we happily accept donations and sponsorships to aid with our start-up funding.

Sponsorships

Levels of donation:

• Donor                  $20 to $250
• Supporter            $250 to $1,000
• Advocate             $1,000 to $5,000
• Benefactor          $5,000 to $20,000
• Philanthropist     $20,000 or more

Individuals

• Supporter level and above can be listed in our sponsor directory for one year if you so choose.
• For individuals who find the information on our website valuable and would like to support the growth of the website.

Nonprofit Organizations and Businesses

• Receive a listing in our sponsor directory for one year with a link to your website.
• For organizations that value the networking and outreach provided by the site, including the community calendar of events.
• For businesses that support the mission of the website, and want to reach out to its online community.

Advertise on the site:

Place an ad on Bakersfield Express to announce an event, sale, etc. The ad will appear in one of the 125-by-125-pixel right sidebar spots, and is clickable to your URL of choice.
