Nominations are open for Garden Pathways 2010 “Women with a Heart for Bakersfield.” Garden Pathways will honor outstanding “Women with a Heart for Bakersfield” at the eighth annual High Tea on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. at Seven Oaks Country Club.

The community is invited to nominate candidates for consideration. Nominees should have a proven record of exceptional community service and leadership, and have made a positive and lasting impact on our community through their efforts. They inspire, mentor, and empower others to generously serve our community and areas beyond.

Past honorees include: Sheryl Barbich, Karen Brown, Izetta Camp, Irma Carson, Esther Chapman, Holly Culhane, Peggy Darling, Joan Dezember, Beckie Diltz, Annie Everly, Chris Frank, Beverly Beasley Johnson, Susan Handy, Ann Hansen, Virginia Kirschenman, Pauline Larwood, Judi McCarthy, Billie Jo Medders, Barbara Patrick, Jeanette Richardson Parks, Christy Porter, Rebecca Rivera, M.D., Sunny Scofield, Sandra Serrano, Mary K.
